Launched in May 2023, the GammaMaster® Nozzle quickly became a best-seller, earning widespread acclaim for its cutting-edge performance. In the seven months leading up to launch, I developed the GammaMaster sub-brand for Slice Engineering and all supporting marketing assets, crafting a distinct identity that reflects the nozzle’s unmatched thermal performance and abrasion resistance.

Slice Engineering needed a bold, standout identity for GammaMaster—one that would capture its high-performance capabilities while differentiating it from competitors. The challenge was to translate technical excellence into a compelling, visceral brand that resonated with professional and hobbyist 3D printing communities alike.

I built GammaMaster’s identity around an energetic, gritty aesthetic that mirrors the nozzle’s durability and high heat tolerance. The hand-drawn squiggles represent key product benefits—horizontal lines for thermal performance, vertical for abrasion resistance—while textures and raw design elements reinforce the brand’s boundary-pushing nature.
To drive engagement, I created:
A social campaign with teaser content leading up to launch
A YouTube launch video, collaborating with a videographer
Limited-edition merchandise that extended the brand beyond digital
